Staff Training Opportunities
As a participating provider, you are the foundation of our network product. You’ve committed to working with MedCost on behalf of your patients, and we’re committed to providing you with the support, assistance, and training you need to effectively and efficiently implement our administrative procedures.
We offer a variety of training opportunities to help you gain a thorough understanding of MedCost procedures and available tools and resources. To find out more about these training options or to request staff training, please click here.
Save valuable time by joining one of our educational teleconferences. Conducted by one of our Provider Specialists, this is an easy way to learn about MedCost’s administrative procedures. MedCost encourages at least one representative from each provider office to participate. The one-hour session is perfect for both new and existing practices and answers many of your most frequently asked questions, such as determining if a patient is a MedCost member, filing claims for the quickest turnaround, and checking status on unpaid claims. In addition, you’ll have a chance to ask your own specific questions as part of the session.(Reference materials will be e-mailed or faxed to you prior to the teleconference.)
Customized And On-Site Education Available
MedCost can provide customized training upon request, based on the needs of your staff members. Specific to the topics and questions you recommend, the sessions focus on the information you need to learn, not information you already know, saving valuable time. We also offer on-site training, and occasionally hold regional workshops for multiple providers in a particular area.
Online Training Opportunities
In consideration of the hectic schedules of our providers, MedCost offers online training on selected topics. These training sessions can be viewed at your convenience, so you don’t need to take valuable time away from the job for training.

Learn “hands-on” how this valuable tool can help you save time and effort with claims follow-up. You can look up individual claims and repricing, link directly to the claim administrator for payment status, and submit additional information on unrepriced claims without having to refile.
