As a PPO, MedCost gives you access to an extensive network of "preferred" health care providers. These providers-doctors, hospitals, and facilities-have agreed to accept special negotiated rates for their services when performed for MedCost participants. Your insurance company or a third party administrator (TPA) processes and pays your claims.
