ADDING A PHYSICIAN TO THE MEDCOST NETWORK?
If you are currently participating with MedCost and need to add an additional provider to the network, simply click here or visit the Join Our Network page on the secure provider portal at www.MedCost.com. You will need to complete the form in its entirety and include your Council for Affordable Quality Healthcare (CAQH) ID. It also is important to include your practice name or doing business as (dba) name on the form so we can be certain the provider is added to the appropriate practice.

Roster Report – pull a roster of providers at your practice
Log in under MedCost Benefit Services to perform the following tasks:

View claim status (search by claim number, patient name, patient ID, or date range)

View claim payment information

View member eligibility and effective date of coverage for patient/member

Access benefit plan details (check specific benefits and coinsurance amounts for patients/members)

Display deductibles and out-of-pocket maximums, along with what has been met

Submit NPI numbers

Contact customer service

FRIENDLY REMINDER: CALLING MEDCOST BENEFIT SERVICES (MBS)
When contacting the MedCost Benefit Services Customer Service Contact Center at 800-795-1023, please ensure you have the member’s name, ID number and Group number available. This will allow your call to be routed to the appropriate customer service representative.
