MedCost is pleased to announce that our board selected Lisa Farrell to serve as the company’s president, effective January 18, 2022. (See press release.) Lisa is an experienced leader with a focus on innovative and creative health plan designs aimed at lowering the cost of care and improving the experience and health of members. Greg Bray, our Chief Financial Officer who has been serving as President in an interim capacity since 2018, will resume his role of CFO full-time.
Lisa’s experience will be critical in aligning providers, employers, and members to:
- Develop transformative and value-add health plan programs and products to meet the needs of employers and
providers in our region
- Create value-enhancing network arrangements that improve access to care and drive improved costs
- Support our industry’s transition from fee-for-service to value arrangements
