As of January 31, 2024, MedCost Virginia (formerly known as Virginia Health Network) closed their physical office location at 812 Moorefield Park Drive, Suite 204, North Chesterfield, VA 23236-3674. MedCost Virginia employees are now working remotely.
To submit claims and/or correspondence for the MedCost Virginia Network, please use the following new mailing address:

Mail will be forwarded from the old physical address and PO box(es) through the end of 2024. However, to ensure your claims and/or correspondence are received and processed in a timely manner, please update your records and begin using the new mailing address immediately.
You also may file claims electronically to MedCost Benefit Services (MBS) using Payer ID 56162.
For other payers or third-party administrators that lease the MedCost Virginia Network, please reference the member’s ID card for the appropriate Payor ID. Or, access the client matrix list on our website at www.medcost.com/provider-file-repository.
If you do not have access to the client matrix, please email [email protected] to request access. Include your name, practice name, and Tax ID number in the body of the email.
