KEEP US INFORMED ABOUT DEMOGRAPHIC CHANGES
Having your most current demographic information in our system is critical for claims processing at MedCost. If we are not notified in a timely manner about any updates to demographic information, such as tax ID, NPI, provider name, practice name, practice address, etc., it may be difficult to process your claims promptly and accurately. This information is provided to our claim administrator partners as well, so inaccurate information could result in payment delays.
Your demographic information also is used for the online MedCost Provider Directory. Members often search this directory when they are in need of health care services.
Changes to your demographic information can be made easily on the Providers portal of our website, or by clicking here.
MEDCOST PRESIDENT RETIRING AFTER 30 YEARS OF SERVICE
After 30 years of service with MedCost, our President, Kathryn Showalter, has decided to retire at the end of March. The MedCost Board has named Greg Bray, our current CFO, as Interim President.
It is an exciting and transformative time as our team continues to passionately pursue the mission of the organization—to deliver cost-effective health care solutions that improve the lives of our members, and to do so with the highest levels of service and integrity. MedCost is committed to working and collaborating with you to evolve the health care delivery system and offer improved value and member experience.
