MUSC Physicians Health Plan Provider Directory
MUSC Physicians seeks to provide the best possible medical benefits at a reasonable cost. Employees are provided with two medical plan options that include prescription drug coverage: the PPO Health Plan and the Value Health Plan. No matter which plan you select, you and your family’s annual physical and wellness visits are covered at 100%. Also, both plan options cover emergency care at any emergency room. And with both plans, you pay less when you go to a MUSC provider.
Value Health Plan Highlights
- The Value Health Plan has lower premiums, deductibles, and copays.
- If you enroll in the Value Health Plan, you/your covered dependents will be required to use MUSC providers for your medical services. Some services will be covered under the plan for non-MUSC providers and facilities such as pediatrics, DME, and urgent care.
- If you cover a dependent who does not live within the MUSC Network area, you will need to provide the dependent’s home address to have a MedCost Network assigned to your dependent. Please email [email protected] with your dependent’s name and address.
- In the event of an emergency, you may seek care from the nearest provider or medical facility, and benefits will be covered at the same level as if using a MUSC provider.
